ZAQA’S PARTICIPATION – 15TH- 17TH JANUARY 2019
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Government of Zambia through the Ministries of General and Higher Education in partnership with Envoys Zambia Limited held the Zambia National Education Conference (ZANEC) and Exhibition at Mulungushi International Conference Centre which took place from the 15th to 17th January 2018. Both the Ministers of Higher Education, Honourable Professor Nkandu Luo, M.P., and the Minister of General Education, Honourable Mr. David Mabumba, M.P were present.
The Conference comprised of three days indaba and an exhibition. The Conference’s overall objective was to interrogate the current education system in Zambia the extent to which it is responsive to the current economic and social needs of the Country and bring out
measures that should be able to address any identified gaps. The theme was Improving the Quality of Zambia’s Education System – The Education We Want.
